Street in the very centre of Swords. Cajun, Mexican &
European dishes provide a reasonably priced menu put together
in an interesting, imaginative & appetising manner. Boasting
a full license Lukas has Murphy’s and Heineken on draught,
bottled beers, spirits and an extensive wine list. The atmosphere
is cosy, relaxing and intimate and due to the Mediterranean
décor which creates a friendly holiday feel so that
our customers come back time and time again. Watch out for
the chef’s specials that are available daily. Head chef,
Anne Harte, adds her own touches to the already mouth watering

Many of you will recognise the owner of “Lukas”,
Kate Gibbons, from her previous position as Function’s
Manager in The Sands Hotel, Portmarnock, Co. Dublin. After
a successful and energetic 19 years Kate decided to venture
out with her partner Philip Burke.With a love for spicy
food and fine wines Kate enjoys her restaurant as an extension
of her own home to entertain her many regular customers
which have become good friends over the years.
Friendly long term staff are on hand to make you feel right
at home when you walk through the door. Mags Wilkinson has
been Kate’s right hand woman for over 7 years, now
another familiar face in the locality. |

Party night is Friday night in Lukas where our resident
DJ plays a mixture of popular music from the 60’s
through to the modern day. Group bookings are popular on
this night as it’s the perfect location and atmosphere
for large and small gatherings for Birthdays, Anniversaries,
and work parties.
Lukas’ Christmas Menu is available from August giving
customers a wide and varied choice, away from the typical
turkey and ham dishes.
Lukas is open seven days a week from 5.30pm and on Sundays
from 5pm. Will also open for group bookings for “
special day” lunches, e.g. Communion, Confirmation
and Mother’s Day. |
